Anyone in the construction industry will tell you that there are few better feelings than seeing a project that you have been involved in come to life and be enjoyed by the public. The latest of these projects for WJ Canada is Love Park in downtown Toronto.
Love Park, on the shores of Lake Ontario, is characterised by an iconic heart shaped reflecting pool with a central red and pink flowered island, and was designed to mirror the surrounding modern glass structures of Toronto’s financial district.
WJ were engaged to undertake the dewatering at the site by Somerville Construction, working on behalf of the City of Toronto, where we installed a wellpoint dewatering system for the new mechanical room.
