The School of Engineering at American University Dubai (AUD) hosted the 3rd edition Deep Foundations Institute Middle East Conference (DFIMEC) 2016. The event is one of the most important and well attended in the region and is a leading technical conference in the field of foundation engineering.
The DFIMEC lasts for 2 days and its purpose is to provide the region’s geotechnical engineering practitioners and academicians a chance to exchange information and experiences. Also there is a series of talks about the latest developments in the field of foundation design and construction form leading experts and industry pundits. Toby Roberts was present to give a talk at the conference that also featured representatives from by the Rail Agency, Roads and Transport Authority-UAE, Gotechnical Engineering, AECOM – Hong Kong.
