WJ Groundwater recently attended the well supported annual NCE Tunnelling & Underground Space Awards. The event took place on the 3rd of December at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
WJ was nominated for an award alongside BBMV JV Crossrail C510 in the Ground Investigation and Monitoring award category for the sub-surface dewatering for a steeply inclined SCL tunnel. Unfortunately, WJ didn’t win this year but our client BBMV were worthy winners in a number of other categories.

Guests were treated to an evening of good food and drink, and ample opportunities to re-establish and make new industry contacts and friends. One of the highlights of the event was a short film shot by drone-camera following the route of the completed London Crossrail tunnels (see below).
